Happy New Year!

I know this is a little late, but this year is getting off to a good start. I ran/walked my first 5K in 22 years! After my accident, the Marine Corps tried to act like I was back to 100%, so they had me doing my Fitness Tests. Before my accident, I ran 3 miles in 17 and a half minutes. Enough for a perfect 100 points. After my accident, I have balance issues and was unable to run it. I failed, because my max allotted time was 28 minutes, and I would come in about 30 or so. I stopped trying to run for a long time, so I decided as a New Year's resolution that I would participate in at least one race a month. My first one was the Liquidation 5K that they used to get rid of all the old awards and prizes from past races. It was held at the Douglas County firing range. In the middle of it was an obstacle course that the firefighters use. Racers were supposed to do one obstacle per lap(2), but I tried about 3 each time. Reminded me of my glory days in the Marines. I wonder if I can go and use the obstacle course some other time on my own! :D Anyway, I was proud that I didn't stop once. I walked, jogged, walked but I didn't stop. My time was55 minutes 35 seconds! I plan on lowering that time next time, and the next.

Jean Joachim and my second book Dangerous Love Lost and Found is now out in paperback. I am extremely happy and blessed to have two books out and am always grateful for Jean's faith in me. Working with her has been great and I am so fortunate for her taking the chance on an unknown.

I hope everyone else had a great New Year. Leave a comment and tell me about it.

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Mine was very eventful in a good way. We had Christmas Eve at grandma's with my aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephew, and the rest of my family. We have been so blessed as a family, lots of love and close relationships. Sunday, we had the immediate family over at my sister and her husband's house. That included a flight around Rome in my brother-in-law's plane.

I got a fitbit charge from my lovely wife, which registers all my activity, both sleeping and awake. Now, I plan on getting serious about my fitness. One of my many New Years resolutions. I have them all written out and planned, including reading a book a week, getting more writing done, and seeing my family and friends more. What are some of your resolutions and how was your Christmas?

Dangerous Love Lost and Found

Edits are about finished and we have a cover! Thank you Jean and the other cover artists, I love it.

Her CIA operative career destroys trust. His life as a Marine makes relationships difficult. A quick affair with no expectations should be easy for them, shouldn’t it?

Dangerous Love Lost and Found

It has been a while since I last posted.I have been very busy lately working on the second book of the Love Lost and Found series with my coauthor, Jean Joachim. Final edits are being done and we will await a release date! I am excited, as I love these characters.

Here is the blurb for the second book. We are awaiting the book cover suggestions and as soon as we have it, I will let everyone know.

With danger lurking around any corner, Eden Wyatt, CIA covert operative, traveled solo.  Hopping from one brief affair to the next, she’d be damned if she’d get a guy killed for loving her. But a chance meeting with a sexy, smart Major on New Year’s Eve rattled her resolve.
Hunted by assassins, Eden had forgotten how to trust. Wary, ever on the alert, the stunning woman, ready to kill or be killed, knew what she wanted. Would she dare break her own rules for Major Tom Davis?
Barreling through her defenses, Major Davis insisted on playing his own game. A man used to giving orders, not taking them, refused to accept her terms. Would Eden put herself in the hands of those who wanted her dead, for love? Or would she kiss happiness goodbye and disappear back into her precarious life of running and hiding?
